Target: 6 weeks (42 d) watch on station, mostly hosting MURRELET.

Duty cycle:
- deep sleep (housekeeping + clock): ~1.5 W
- listen (MURRELET array + DSP): ~40 W
- wake/burst report (comms + nav fix): ~80 W, short

If we listen 100% we're dead in days. So: listen in windows, sleep between.
Say 20% listen duty -> avg = 0.8*1.5 + 0.2*40 = ~9.5 W (+ rare bursts).
Battery target ~12 kWh -> 12000/9.5 = ~1263 h = ~52 d. ok, margin for bursts.

Risk: missing a contact during a sleep window. MURRELET wants a low-power
"trip" channel that wakes the main array. talk to Grace.
